An Electronically Conspicuous Grid of 6 by 6 street light posts placed 183 meters apart on any suitable plot of land that is 1000 meters by 1000 meters.

Suitable for training Remote Pilots in the science of Electronic Conspicuity, R&D, including testing EC-P2P applications, as well as outdoor venues such as Agricultural Shows.

Ideal for UAV Flight Schools, Universities, and Councils and Parishes wishing to evaluate installing EC-Nodes at the top of each street light post in their jurisdiction, as well as outdoor venues that desire the benefits of being electronically conspicuous.

Includes:

  • An EC-Node mounted on top of each street light post, with the following options:
    • Linux or Windows 10, of various configurations
    • Connectivity:
      • SIM Card capable, with solar power
      • SIM Card capable, with wired-in Power
      • Ethernet, with wired-in power
    • With or without street light/s
    • GPIO pins allowing for the management of local resources, for example:
      • Monitoring the ON/OFF status of the street light at the top of the street light post
      • Switching the street light ON and OFF
      • Monitoring the service status of the street light
      • Sending street light malfunction data back to a central facility
    • IP66 Enclosure Rating (EN 60529 (British BS EN 60529:1992))
    • Remote Management

Designed to simulate varying street light post distances, such as approaching a village where distances between them start at 183 meters apart and get closer, such as graduating down to (in this case) approximately 45.75 meters apart.

As above with three additional street light posts between original first and original second street light posts, two additional ones between original second and original third street light posts, and one additonal one between original third and original fourth street light posts - in both X and Y directions.
